One mini will run both fine. I keep a headless mac mini going 24/7 for my voice tooling and other always-on jobs, reach it over Tailscale from wherever. The local CPU/RAM is almost never what gives out -- its the API rate limits and honestly your own attention to keep up with what the agents kick back. Big win is not having a long running agent pinning your daily driver laptop when you wanna close the lid and walk away.
